December 2012 Per Capita Payment
On behalf of the Blackfeet Tribal Business Council, this year's December Per Capita Payment has been approved for $200.00 (EX201238) for each enrolled member of the Blackfeet Tribe set for December 10, 2012.
Checks will be available in the Tribal Conference Room daily between 8:30am to 12:30pm and 1:00pm to 4:30pm starting:
- Monday, December 10th, 2012: All checks available.
- Tuesday, December 11th, 2012: Out-of-State checks mailed.
- Wednesday, Deecember 12th, 2012: In-State and Canadian checks mailed.
Remember to update your address and notarize your release forms if you want someone else to pick your check up before the week of check distribution. You can stop by the office if you want to change or release your information in person, but you must bring an ID.

Date Set For Per Capita Payout
The Blackfeet Tribal Business Council (BTBC) approved a $200.00 Per Capita payment for each enrolled member of the Blackfeet Tribe (E2012-310) scheduled for September 5th, 2012 (EX2012-353).
2012 Check Distribution Schedule
- September 5th, 6th, and 7th 2012: Checks will be distributed at the Blackfeet Tribal Conference Room in Browning, MT.
- September 6th, 2012: Checks will be mailed to out-of-state addresses.
- September 7th, 2012: Checks will be mailed to in-state addresses and Canada.
- September 4th, 2012 at midnight is the application deadline for eligible enrollees to receive this $200 Per Capita payment.
All required documents must be turned into our office before the week of the check payout for processing.

A Date Has Been Set For Upcoming Per Capita Payout: June 28th, 2012
The Blackfeet Tribal Business Council (BTBC) approved an increase to $550.00 Per Capita payment for each enrolled member of the Blackfeet Tribe. The BTBC has confirmed June 28th, 2012 as the date for the per capita via the funds from the U.S. Government Tribal Trust Settlement.

2012 Check Distribution Schedule
- June 28th and June 29th: Checks will be distributed at the Blackfeet Tribal Conference Room in Browning, MT.
- June 28th: Checks will be mailed to out-of-state addresses.
- June 29th: Checks will be mailed to in-state addresses.
Starting July 2nd: All checks with addresses within the boundries of the Blackfeet Nation (Browning, East Glacier, Babb, and Heart Butte) that have not been picked up will remain at the Blackfeet Enrollment Office including all returned checks.

On behalf of the Blackfeet Tribal Business Council, This year's December Per Capita payment will be $75.00 for each enrolled member of the tribe.
2011 Check Distribution Schedule
- December 19, 20, 21: Checks will be distributed at the Blackfeet Tribal Conference Room.
- December 19: Checks will be mailed to out-of-state addresses.
- December 20: Checks will be mailed to in-state addresses.
After December 21st, all checks with addresses within the boundries of the Blackfeet Nation (Browning, East Glacier, Heart Butte, and Babb) will remain at the Enrollment Department Office for pickup.

Resolution Number 102-2011 states that member (s) of the Blackfeet Tribe who have not picked up their individual Per Capita check (s) or for whom the tribe has no current address or such checks are not able to be sent to the individual tribal member, after a period of one (1) year, and upon notice to the affected individual Tribal member, be returned in correct percentages to the Tribal Judgment Interest Fund for the Sweet Grass Hills Judgment and to the Tribal General Fund. If you would like to additional information regarding this resolution, please contact the Blackfeet Tribal Treasurer at (406) 338-7342 or the Blackfeet Tribe Enrollment Department. A collection procedure is still being established and a notice will be announced soon.

The Blackfeet Nation is proud to announce that a $150.00 Payment will be disbursed to each enrolled Blackfeet tribal member ages eighteen (18) years and younger. Any enrolled member over eighteen years of age, but still in high school will be eligible with proper documentation presented. These funds are to assist the families with children and their back to school expenses.

Payment Distribution Process for all Per Capita Checks
If your address is within the boundaries of the Blackfeet Nation, your check can be picked up at the Blackfeet Enrollment Department during business hours. Please bring in proof of identification to pick up your check. If you would like it mailed to your local address, please notify our office of this request.
If your address is outside the boundaries of the Blackfeet Nation, your check was mailed to the current address we have on file during the dates checks were dispersed for pick up here at the Blackfeet Tribe. If you have not updated your address and did not receive your check, most likely your check was returned to the Blackfeet Enrollment office. You will need to send an updated notarized address change before our office can mail out your check again.
Research for lost, stolen, or misplaced checks may take up to thirty (30) days or more providing a written request is submitted to the Enrollment office in a timely manner either by mail or fax.

- Notice: All Per Capita checks that have Browning, Heart Butte, East Glacier & Babb, MT addresses will remain at the Blackfeet Enrollment office for pick up including any returned checks unless a member requests it to be mailed.
- Reminder: It is the responsibility of the enrolled member to keep current and updated information when changes occur by submitting the proper documents to the Enrollment Office throughout the year.
